Smoke Notes: Oro Cubano Aniversario
Posted by Stinkie under Bargain Cigar Reviews, Cigar Reviews, Stinkie's Posts
Like always I was on the hunt for my monthly box/bundle of cheap smokes and ran across a review by CigarMonkey. It was of the Oro Cubano Aniversario Robusto being sold by CI on a 2-fer deal. After talking me into it I did a split with another member of the forum. After smoking the first three I found these to be a great deal. Sure they are ugly as hell with a very basic band but as Monkey Dan says they do give you a bang for your buck. The cons you will find are they are not that pretty, it does not hold the longest ash and some of them have a firm draw (not that bad, good amount of smoke). The pros are of course .90 (after shipping) per stick, nice flavor and a decent burn. And that my friend works out to be a great smoke for the money. You will find these to be a medium strength smoke.
If your wife has you on a budget or you just want some good cheap smokes for running around these are a good choice.
