I have not smoked many of the Torano line of cigars in the past but after smoking these I think I need to explore it more closely. I had a couple Perfecto size that has been sitting in my humidor for a while now and decided to smoke one of my last ones today. This cigar comes in at 5×51 and is consists of a Sun Grown Brazillian maduro wrapper and filled with Dominican Cubano Ligero and Nicaraguan Habano Ligero binded with a Broadleaf binder. This is a beautiful cigar. Even though the head is open I took a little extra off to open the draw up a little.
The Torano site says this is a medium to full-bodied smoke and I have to agree. Starting off in the medium range and moved more to the full side at about the half way mark. From sweet to spice this cigar has it all. I picked up sweetness, spice, leather and others I could not make out.
Out of the 4 I have smoked I have had two issues with the burn that needed touched up (one cigar). I expected the ash to hold on longer for such I nicely made cigar but the flavor makes up for it.
Since I did not buy these smokes (I won them on a football pick’em) I had to research the price a little. I about fell out of my chair when I seen the price. The Perfecto size runs about $110 but you can get the robusto for $75.95 for a box of 25 (Buy Now)! That comes out at $3.04 per smoke and that my friend is flirting with with what I consider a bargain cigar. This cigar is a must try for medium to full-bodied maduro lovers.

This is one of my favorite Toranos, especially the perfecto size. Smooth, with lots of coffee flavors, and that consistenly good Torano construction. Decent price too. Great smoke all the way around.
