My journey with Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quixote

The look of this cigar is good. A very dark cigar that has small veins and little bumps, man this thing looks thick and tasty. No soft spots that I could find. It looks like this thing should burn good. I used a punch on this cigar and the cap came off The fire up was smooth with no issues. This cigar smoked a lot when lit up, starting to look up again.

The first half of the cigar has a little spice but surprisingly mild. Good flavor (still can’t tell what they are). The draw is great with good exhale and plenty of smoke. The ash just held on and would not let go. So far I’m giddy.

Last half of the cigar things really pick up. The spice picks up and it turns chewy. The more you smoke the more spice that comes out. Still good flavor with small burn issues that needs no correction.

Overall the only real flaw I seen with the construction is the cap. As I said I used a punch and the cap popped off making for a sloppy head during the smoke. The body over all was what I think is a medium to full body leaning toward full but nothing overwhelming. Good spice, tons of smoke and decent burn with only minor burn issues. I personally feel that this is the perfect size of Sancho Panza Double Maduro line. Good solid ash and cherry. Never thought about going out on me. I wish I would have got a picture of the end on life of this cigar. Thought I better put her down after burning my finger (not even an inch left). I can not wait to try them after being in the humi a couple months that I hear solves the burn issue. This one should age well and maybe even give you some bloom.

I had to get a box for the coolidor.

Off to bed to dream of cigars and beer.
