Review: Opus X Belicoso XXX

Cigar Review: Opus X Belicoso XXXI smoked the Opus X that was voted on. I was looking forward to picking up a Ashton Aged Maduro but maybe next time. Don’t get me wrong it was tasty but I don’t know if I buy into all the hype behind it. I did not get the talked about “daze” from it. The Padron 1926 put more of an ass whoop-in on me than this cigar, so don’t let the rumors run you off. I found the Opus Belicoso to be very smooth with no harshness. I also found a new unique flavor I have never tasted but can’t figure out what it was. The burn had some issues you would find on a $3 cigar, I expected more in this department due to the price. I paid I believe a little over $10 for it.

So over all I really enjoyed the flavor of this cigar. I have another I will smoke soon and I’m sure I will buy more when I get the chance even though I don’t like paying that much for cigars. Thanks to everyone that voted on my birthday cigar, I enjoyed it after a nice seafood dinner of lobster tail, shrimp and crab sitting in my hotel room………
