Our club is called “Ladies Only”. We are in Northeastern Colorado. We meet once a month and it’s by invitation only.

It started in 1997 when, after 19 years of marriage, I got a divorce. I bought a book called “101 Things Girls Can Do To Have Fun”. One of the suggestions was to learn to properly clip, light and smoke a cigar. I, who have never smoked anything other than grapevine, started reading and studing the subject as I thought it truly sounded like fun. We grew from 4 gals to about 40 per month on average.

We pick out a liquor (for the next meeting) and plan our smoke around that liquor choice. We also have a special program each month. Programs have ranged from a Colorado Senator to male strippers.

Thanks for the comment Lisa. I put my foot in my mouth ever so often but please do not take it as it sounds. What I was trying to get across was that it made me think a biker stereotype. A little rugged looking and a little rough around the edges.

I’m glad to hear about another ladies cigar club. What is the name of it and where is it at? I have been thinking about posting about this subject.

I’ve had a “Ladies Only” cigar club for 11 years and this is one of the ‘girls’ favorites, so I would NOT call this a “mans smoke”.
