Loading ...Being that I had a 10 hour drive ahead of me I decided to take along this cigar to help keep my mind off the boring time. The only interesting thing was looking for the Grass Man while going through northern Ohio (Dang History Channel’s Monter Quest). Needless to say that I didn’t see anything. Surprised?

Arganese cigars are manufactured by Arganese Dominicana, S.A. Tamboril Santiago, Dominican Republic. Arganese cigars are made of only the finest longfiller tobacco grown in the Villa Gonzalez, a mountainous area known for its fertile soil. Grown and harvested in 1998, the tobacco used in these cigars was carefully hand selected and aged for several years.
A medium-bodied cigar made of the finest, hand picked tobaccos, carefully aged for 7 years. Dominican Republic and Cuban seed Dominican grown tobaccos are exquisitely blended to give you a perfect smoke every time. Hints of chocolate and sweetened coffee flavors highlight the experience.

Pre-light: I love the shape of this cigar. The Arganese Maduro Chairman Figurado is a beautiful looking cigar. It looks like it could be shot out of a submarine. The wrapper itself has a couple medeum sized veins. I didn’t feel any soft spots, just a beutiful roll job on these. It has a rich tobacco smell, a tight pre-draw with a little spice.
The burn: Once fired up and past the foot the draw was perfect all the way down with the burn line almost as good. The burn rate, smoke amount and ash length were all top notch. The ash being grey/black lasting an inch or more.
The taste: I picked up some bitter chocolate in the beginning. I mostly tasted mellow tobacco and semi sweetness for the most part with just a little of that tangy flavor that I can never figure out. There were a couple others that I could not get but I do know that they were all great.
Over all: Another good Arganese and at under $6 each box price I will be getting some more of these.
